Dear Doxians,
Sanjay Samaddar 1980 batch CEO ArcelorMittal Flat Carbon Eastern Europe, visited the school after 30 years.
The Occasion was made memorable as 24th July was the School recognition day . Doxa and St. Xavier’s Delhi are proud to have one of the top corporate personalities in the world from amongst their fraternity. Mr. Samaddar graciously accepted to be the chief guest at the recognition day.
Mr. Samaddar Congratulated the winner of the excellence awards and enjoyed the musical performances by the school choir.
Sanjay recounted the values he imbibed from the school ie. Courage, Competence and Confidence. He further elaborated that while interviewing prospective employees he gives more weight age to their ability to fight rather than pure academic achievements.
Later, Sanjay enjoyed a brief interaction with the teachers over light refreshments. He gave great attention to the photographs of Jesuits displayed in the staff room.
Accompanied with his wife Patrolekha, Son Sanjit and daughter Sanjana, he went around the school campus and relived memories of his days in school, and greatly appreciated the recent renovations and restoration work done for the golden jubilee year by the Rector.
Sanjay promoised to be in constant touch with DOXA and the school in future.
